유준호 JOON HO YU

Joon-Ho first was a KCSC volunteer at 2018 and became a staff member in 2021. He immigrated with his parents to the Seattle area in 1975 and brings decades of non-profit program experience and academic research expertise to support our diverse community.

김경은 KYUNG EUN KIM
FINANCIAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
PROGRAM MANAGER
Kyun Eun joined KCSC in 2019. As a first generation immigrant herself Kyung finds great meaning in serving the Korean community and helping Korean immigrants. Kyung works as an Operation Finance Manager and also is in charge of the Community Safety Program.

조앤 김 JOANN KIM
FAMILY YOUTH PROGRAM MANAGER
Joann joined KCSC in 2019. She is grateful to serve as Program Manager for Family Youth Programs at Korean Community Service Center where she oversees the parenting support and youth empowerment programs for the Korean diasporic community. She is also a mom of two young children and community engaged visual artist working towards restorative justice, healing and liberation.

Hye Young joined KCSC in 2020. She specialized on marriage and family therapy. She works on providing culturally competent counseling to assist each individual to build healthier relationship in their family community and society.

진민희 MINHEE CHO

MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
FAMILY THERAPIST
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Washington state, Minhee provides counseling services to individuals (school-age children, adolescents, and adults) struggling with mental health issues, as well as couples, parents and children, and families experiencing conflicts in their relationships. She also organizes seminars on mental health prevention and relationship restoration for the Korean community and organizations.

Hyun Son joined KCSC in 2021. With 20 years of working experience at large For-Profit Tech companies, Hyun Son is responsible for coordinating with other team members to manage multiple aspects of each project simultaneously.

박준림 JUN RIM PARK
PARENTING PROGRAM SPECIALIST
Jun Rim joined KCSC in 2020. With over 30 years of working experience at an education field, she is responsible for planning, promoting, and recruiting parent education programs, and managing and communicating with instructors and parents.

오석연 SUK-YEON OH
PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Suk-Yeon joined KCSC in 2022. She has taught Physics and Math for many years in different settings including grade schools, college, Korean school, and a private academy. Suk-Yeon's current passion is for working with people with disabilities, believing that our community should make efforts to support them and their families.

FATHER'S PROGRAM SPECIALIST
Sam Sim joined KCSC in 2022. Sam is a digital marketing entrepreneur for close to 20 years. In addition, he is in the process of obtaining MDIV, LMHC/LMFT. His heart is truly for youth and family as well as empowerment of the role of fathers, as he has served on the leadership board for Duranno Father School for over a decade.

Mi Hyeon is a Family Program Coordinator at KCSC and runs the Expectant Parents Support Program. She volunteered at KCSC since 2015 and became a staff member in 2022. Mi Hyeon is passionate about public health, and with her Masters in Nursing Leadership in Community Health from the University of Washington, she hopes to contribute to the betterment of Korean immigrant community’s well-being.

Seungyoun joined KCSC in 2023 and oversees all aspects of KCSC’s human resources department. She is excited to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and skill sets, cherishing the team’s diversity, and appreciating each employee’s unique perspectives and experiences to promote KCSC and its mission.

IMMIGRATION/FAMILY SUPPORT
Meeran joined KCSC in 2020. As a family support professional, she pursues work with people from diverse cultures and aims to empower them by connecting with community resources. She is a firm believer that the definition of prevention and family support should be associated with assisting families with a range of support to build on their strengths and collaborating with them to bring benefits to the community.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Youngmi has been working as a volunteer at KCSC since 2015 and became a staff member in 2023. She is involved in creating materials such as posters, ads, presentations, event materials, etc., to promote KCSC and its mission.

유니스 백 EUNICE BACK
YOUTH PROGRAMS COORDINATOR
Eunice Back was a YouthKAN council member in 2018 and became a KCSC staff member in 2022. She works within KCSC’s youth programs, YouthKAN and WeKAN, to empower Korean-American youth to use their voice and explore their identities. She serves to foster generational healing, community support, and mentorship.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Jaeeun Lee joined KCSC in 2021 as a facilitator for Ottuki Parenting Class (BSK 0-5 years old kids). Recently, she began to serve as a staff member for our Federal Way facility, managing the food bank program and facilitating Ottuki Parenting Classes as well as its support group for South King County area. Jaeeun comes with over 15 years of experience working in the educational field. She has B.A in Early Childhood Education. Currently, she is studying for an M.A in counseling.

DATA EVALUATION & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Jessica joined KCSC in 2022. She is passionate about using data to drive organizations towards serving and bettering their communities. Jessica is interested in how people interact with their environment and create social connections. She strongly believes in a life of service. In pursuit of a Masters of Science in Business Analytics, Jessica dreams of creating systems that guide people in their daily lives and enlighten them to live their best life.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Jung A became a part of KCSC in 2021. With her vast experience of working as an instructor for the Ottuki parenting class for three years, she has now taken on the additional responsibility of supporting KCSC as an office staff.
Jung A has also been serving as a Korean language teacher at the United Seattle & Bellevue Korean school since 2020.

CLIENT-BASED SERVICES
Grace joined KCSC in 2023. As the Program Coordinator for Client Based Services, she works to support and strengthen KCSC’s efforts in providing culturally and linguistically accessible services for the Korean American community. She also supports KCSC’s behavioral health program initiatives. Grace holds a Master of Social Work degree and brings experience in case management, non-profit and community work.
